Hi there.

I want to make my introduction as a contributor to this blog by saying, "Hello, my name is Rob and I am excited." I am really excited to be a part of iYOUth. I really enjoy watching everyone take steps forward, some small, some large, but all moving forward. I am psyched to work with Homer, our youth pastor, in this group. Big things are ahead, you can feel it as surely as you can feel autumn in the air. What I see going on right now is scripture being lived out loud.

'Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”'

Ecclesiastes 12:1

You guys are not only remembering Him, you are doing something about it. You are knocking on doors, inviting your friends, providing leadership and sharing enthusiasm - the result of God's inspiration on you. You are remembering Him who is putting this fire in you, and it is so powerful. You've changed, people can see it plainly. iYOUth is becoming that strong light, the city on the hill that cannot be hidden. Take joy in that light, God is shining it on you on purpose. Its your reflection of Him that is helping fuel the revolution we are seeing at Celebration. Do not forget this time, don't forget what it is like to have the living God anoint you with love and strength and fire.....to feel His Spirit come alive in your hearts. Consider how amazing it is that He who spoke all things into existence is speaking new life into existence in you. We give Him praise, we give Him glory and we thank Him for what is doing.
